The Xbox Game Pass is possibly one of the best bang-for-the-buck gaming subscriptions out there. Offering hundreds of games including Day 1 releases such as Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, the Xbox Game Pass has slowly become a necessity whether you are a mobile, PC, or Xbox gamer.

While the Game Pass is good news itself, Xbox just elevated its gaming experience by letting Xbox Insiders stream their own games on Xbox consoles.

You might be wondering, "Stream my owned games on my Xbox console? That's ridiculous, I already own them." It looks like it until you realize that this means that you will never have to worry about disk space and installation times ever again. Sounds promising, yes? Well, read on.

Last month, Xbox announced that Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can finally stream select video games they own via TVs and browsers through supported devices in regions that the Xbox Cloud Gaming covers. They also mentioned that streaming these games will be available on Xbox consoles next year.

But it seems like Christmas came early for gamers who are Xbox Insiders that belong to Xbox's Alpha Skip-Ahead and Alpha rings. These invite-only rings surely come with magnificent perks such as being the first ones to try the updated Xbox Cloud Gaming on their Xbox Consoles.

If you're ready to save more disk space and skip installation times while playing more titles as you end this year, here's how you can stream your owned Xbox games via Xbox Cloud Gaming.

How to Stream Your Own Xbox Games On Your Xbox Console

1. Once you're on your Xbox home page, go to My games & apps, then Full library, and then proceed to Owned Games.

2. You'll see the list of your purchased and owned games, and games that are cloud-playable will have a cloud badge on their page.

3. To start streaming your games without installing them and using up disk space, select the game and choose Play with Cloud Gaming.

4. Enjoy and play your game via Xbox Cloud Gaming!

Not only does this save you time and disk space, but it also lets you play multiple titles without even uninstalling your favorite games from your Xbox console.

This is perfect for those moments when you have your family and friends over and they want to play a different game, you'll never have to wait for installation time. Great for younger gamers such as your kids or nephews and nieces who are eager to jump straight into the games they love.

You can also easily find games you like by filtering via navigating to Filter, then Ready to Play, and finally Cloud Gaming.

If you’re playing on PC, there’s no need to fear missing out. This feature will soon roll out to Windows, letting you launch games directly from the Store app and stream through the Xbox app faster than you can say, "Xbox Game Pass is the best!".

While streaming your own games is only currently available to members of the Xbox Insider Program, you can always be part of the program by downloading the Xbox Insider Hub for your Xbox console or PC.
