Supervive is quickly winning over fans with its unique blend of MOBA strategy, battle royale chaos, and fast-paced hero shooter gameplay.

However, for beginners, the game has a learning curve that depends on how you approach it. This article covers some quick tips to help you get started.

Not Sure Where to Start in Supervive? These Tips Have You Covered

It's a game where you have to outthink and outplay your opponents while mastering dynamic abilities.

Beginners may feel overwhelmed by the mechanics early on, especially with features like gliding, using Hunter abilities, and syncing up with teammates.

If you're just starting, these tips will help you jump into the action and make your mark.

1. Get the Basics Down in Training Mode

Training Mode is where you can easily pick up the basics of Supervive.

This mode allows you to try out every Hunter, even the ones you don't yet own, so you can explore which roles and abilities best suit your playstyle.

Understanding how everyone’s role clicks in the team will give you a boost in real matches. This mode also lets you work on your abilities up close.

Just press Left-Alt and hover over an ability to catch the little things you might miss in the heat of the game.

For example, you can test the range, damage output, and timing of abilities against stationary bots.

You can even experiment with Powers and items to see how they work with different Hunters and situations.

You’ll also need solid movement in Supervive, and Training Mode is the best way to practice.

Gliding, climbing ledges, and positioning effectively are skills that separate good players from great ones.

Continue working on these mechanics until they feel natural.

This prep will save you from costly mistakes in live games and help you get into matches without a hitch.

2. Start With Monster Camps To Build a Solid Lead

At the start of a match, your team only has access to one ability.

Taking down a Monster Camp right after landing grants your whole team enough EXP to hit level 2 and unlock a second ability.

This early advantage can make a difference in skirmishes with nearby enemies.

Focus on areas close to Monster Camps when selecting a drop location.

As you drop, spot the purple dot clusters on the map and sync up with your team to land nearby.

Don't go near hotly contested areas unless your team is confident in its ability to handle early fights.

If you drop smart, you can clear a Monster Camp without interference and get off to a solid start.

Once you land, head directly to the nearest Monster Camp and start clearing it with your team.

The sooner you clear camps, the more resources you can stock up on before you start fighting.

3. Use the Map To Stay Ahead of the Pack

The map is pretty much your survival cheat code in Supervive.

Keeping a close eye on it allows you to spot key locations like Vaults, Hot Zones, and enemy activity.

Start each match by exploring the map to learn its layout and spot dangers or advantages.

Check out enemy landing zones during the drop phase to avoid early fights or prepare for calculated skirmishes.

Make sure to check the mini-map often to track enemy movements and avoid being caught off guard.

Switching wisely between tasks, such as Monster and Base Camps, helps keep resources flowing and gives you an advantage over others.

Use Oracles (radar symbols on the map) to locate enemy teams and plan ambushes or safe paths.

4. Hit Up Vaults and Base Camps for Resources First

Vaults are treasure-filled locations that provide powerful items and Powers essential for dominating the match.

Unlocking them involves a team effort to hack security systems while fending off enemy interference.

Grabbing Vaults early can pump up your strength, so teaming up to take them is a good idea.

On the other hand, Base Camps are safe zones where you can heal, repair armor, and restore mana.

Securing these camps early gives you a leg up and a safe location to fall back to and respawn.

Remember that Base Camps also alert your team when enemies enter their range.

5. Make Every Move Count in Combat

The combat in Supervive is fast-paced, so you must stay sharp and think ahead.

Before committing to an all-out attack, you must pressure opponents to exhaust their dashes or escape abilities, then strike when they are vulnerable.

This way, you’ll have a higher chance of getting key skills and won’t waste your team’s potential on missed chances.

Picking the right targets can also make all the difference in a fight.

Always focus on key targets like damage dealers and healers to disrupt the enemy team’s plan.

Don’t waste time on tanks at the beginning unless they're cut off from the rest of their team.

Tanks are built to absorb damage, and focusing on them early will deplete your resources while their allies retaliate.

While gliding makes travel easier, it slows you down in combat.

Only glide when necessary in battles, as damage taken mid-glide can stun or eliminate you if you're over the Abyss.

If you need to glide to reposition, make sure you're either out of enemy sight or have adequate cover.

Spend some time checking out the game’s depth and mechanics, and with some practice, you’ll climb the ranks and have a blast.
