Although we think a more powerful Switch is a great idea, a leaked accessory is hinting that Nintendo still has weird ideas up its sleeve.
Knoebel posted a leaked Switch 2 accessory on X, hinting that dual-screen gaming might have a place in this next-gen system. The leak below shows that this accessory can be placed on top of Nintendo’s new console. It’s a curious addition, making fans wonder what features will be used with this setup.
Naturally, some fans are leaning towards playing older games from the DS and 3DS line of systems. Anyone who has emulated the library of these games knows how frustrating it can be to switch between two screens without the actual handheld. This attachable screen has many gamers thinking this will make playing those older titles easier if they’re part of the NSO service.
Fans should take this with a grain of salt since insiders are capitalizing on the Switch 2 as a talking point. While plenty of the leaked details were real, like the magnetized joy-cons, not everything about this system has been revealed.
