What is the System Shock Remake Robot Maintenance code? When playing the System Shock Remake, you'll encounter several puzzles that involve inputting numbered codes. These codes are typically covertly hidden throughout the labyrinth-style map, which can make finding the correct one for each individual puzzle a bit of a challenge. If you're lost, we've got you covered with the code for the Robot Maintenance room down below.

For a complete run of System Shock, you'll need to come across around seven codes for various doors and other locked areas. For the Robot Maintenance code, you'll need to make a trip through the Research Labs. Here's what to do. Once you start a code puzzle, solving similar puzzles should become a little easier.

Where are the Robot Maintenance doors in System Shock Remake?

Not sure what we're talking about here? You'll find the Robot Maintenance room at the southeast part of Citadel's second deck Research Labs. Just look for the sign. Watch out for the Hopper turret and other enemy machines inside. They'll rip you to shreds if you're not careful.

Once you're safe inside the Robot Maintenance room, you'll have to open two pairs of doors, with the first requiring you to solve the puzzle at the junction box. The second is where the numbered Robot Maintenance code comes in.

How to find the code for the Robot Maintenance doors

As it turns out, there's no single code that will work for everyone. It's number for the Robot Maintenance doors is randomly generated. But it's always in the same place.

To find the combination code for the Robot Maintenance doors, you'll have to locate a text log stored on a USB stick in the southwest room. It's around the contaminated area where you may have found the isotope X-22.

To find it again, use the passages and ladders from the northern side of the rooms to get there. We've also attached a map that highlights the room you're supposed to go to above.

Once you're in the southwest room, you'll see the USB stick on a table-like structure beside a button. Once you click on the USB stick, you'll see the shutdown code. Make a note of it.
