Want to know if the Tekken 8 pre-order bonuses are worth it? Then we got you covered with all the information you need.
Tekken 8 is set to release on 26 January. Featuring over 30 characters on its base roster and a ton of editions to choose from, Bandai Namco is truly trying to incentivise players to fork out their hard-earned cash, even adding a few pre-order bonuses.
So, if you're still on the fence regarding a potential pre-purchase of Tekken 8, then let's tell you everything you need to know about all the pre-order bonuses available for the highly anticipated fighting game.
Tekken 8 pre-order bonuses
There are a couple of interesting Tekken 8 pre-order bonuses. Regardless of which Tekken 8 version you prefer, if you pre-order the game you'll get the following:
- Paul Phoenix avatar costume
Furthermore, if you pre-order the PlayStation 5 version of the game, you'll also get:
- Tetsujin avatar skin
- Mokujin avatar skin
As you can see, while welcomed, these pre-order bonuses aren't all that, especially since they're cosmetics for your avatar rather than unique character skins, which would have been a bit more exciting.
These cosmetic items can be shown off at the Fight Lounge. Similar to Street Fighter 6's Battle Hub, it'll serve as Tekken 8's social hub for players to meet, engage in friendly competition, and show off their unique styles.
The Paul Phoenix avatar set will feature a total of five pieces of gear which can be mixed and matched. Meanwhile, the PlayStation 5 exclusive pre-order bonuses serve as skins, which alter the general appearance of your avatar rather than its clothing.
We're not sure if these items will remain exclusive to players that pre-order Tekken 8 or if they'll become available for purchase later down the line using in-game currency called Fight Money.
And that's all you need to know about the Tekken 8 pre-order bonuses. For more on the game, check out Tekken 8's system requirements to see if you're able to run the PC version.
