The Plucky Squire’s varied accessibility features are helpful tools for casual players. It offers two options for starting their journey: Adventure and Story Mode.

Adventure Mode is for players who want to play The Plucky Squire as the developers intended. Story Mode is a chill way to enjoy the story without worrying about intense challenges and game-overs.

Despite Story Mode’s lenient approach to challenge, you can still die if you’re not careful. Thankfully, the game has more accessibility features if you want to play without worries.

Unlocking Infinite Health or Invincibility is pretty simple, as it can be accessed before starting the game. It’s found in settings under the Accessibility tab, and it offers more than just immortality for our beloved protagonist, Jot.

Simply turning it ON will activate Jot’s invincibility, which means he can no longer die, making the game less of a challenge and more of a straightforward adventure. All that’s left are the puzzles that require brain power and a variety of platforming sections that need a bit of reflexes.

Other Accessibility Options

Even with Invincibility ON, there’s still a lot to do in The Plucky Squire. Not everyone has the time or means to finish games. This is precisely why more features can be tweaked should you or others need more aid.

Among these options is Jump Assist, which enables Jot to jump more easily. Other platforming helpers include disabling falling platforms, perfect for those who easily panic.

Additionally, you can turn Jot into an overpowered anime character by enabling the one-hit kill option. This makes everything die instantly with just one swing of his sword.

While these are optional, it is nice for developers to think about the wider audience. Not everyone has the time and skill to finish games; these accessibility features are worthy additions that factor into The Plucky Squire’s success.
