Keep reading for a full lowdown on why we've placed these characters in their respective tiers:
S Tier
- Aang
- April O'Neil
- Leonardo
- Lucy Loud
- Spongebob Squarepants
All of the characters in this tier have potent kill potential. These characters are the current best picks for the game but may need to learn how to play them to be effective.
As seen on this matchup on Super Smash Con Fall Fest Grand Finals, these blistering fast characters can exert high pressure on their opponents and can kill even when their foe still has barely any damage.
Players who aim to compete must at least learn how to fight against these characters to go far.
A Tier
- Catdog
- Nigel Thornberry
- Michelangelo
- Sandy Cheeks
- Ren and Stimpy
- Oblina
- Shredder
- Hugh Neutron
These characters are also strong picks but pale when their tools are compared to the S tiers. However, these characters still have good kill potential.
Compared to the S tiers, these characters are strong but their flaws are much more noticeable than them. In Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, all of these characters in this tier have effective moves that can make up a solid gameplan but have moves which are too slow or too dangerous to use outside of this plan.
Characters in the A tiers are often considered solid picks for any player who picks them up.
B Tier
- Korra
- Lincoln Loud
- Reptar
- Danny Phantom
- Invader Zim
- Powdered Toast Man
- Garfield
- Jenny Wakeman
- Rocko
These characters are defined with a few strong gimmicks that players need to land to be successful with these characters. If these gimmicks are not landed, these characters often struggle in fights.
As seen in this B tier list, each of these characters has access to strong damage output to knock their foes in the map easily. However, their approach can be difficult as they often have inferior tools than the higher tiers or their best tools are hidden behind a gimmick or tactic that is too risky to perform.
C Tier
- Toph
- Patrick Star
- Helga Pataki
Looking at these picks, these characters are the underperformers of the fighting game. Their strong moves are often overshadowed by the higher tiers as it can be easily avoided or too slow to execute on most players even at lower levels of play.
The characters in these tiers have ineffective tools mainly because their attacks and setups are too slow to use and execute. Due to their sluggish options, they often struggle against most matchups even when all their foe has is a speed advantage.
Banned
- Michelangelo (formerly)
Prior to a previous patch, Michelangelo was considered a broken character in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl. His infinite jumps allowed players to stall matches indefinitely while having a decent kill potential. It forced tournament organizers to ban him out of competitive play until it was patched out. As of now, no characters are banned from of the game, but Michelangelo remains a divisive choice.
