Bloodhunt Tier List for March 2024

Bloodhunt Tier List for March 2024

Join the masquerade with the latest foray into the World of Darkness, with our Vampire The Masquerade Bloodhunt tier list. We'll keep it updated as balance patches and more archetypes and classes are added, but the current list should help you in these very early launch stages.

For those just hearing about the game now, this vampiric take on the battle royale formula is free-to-play on PlayStation and Steam right now. Set in the dark streets of Prague, there’s a silent war going on between Inquisition soldiers and rival vampire clans. The aim is to come out on top by hunting and devouring the competition, by any means necessary - and this tier list should help.

Expect the above Bloodhunt tier list to change as the launch hype dies down. The developers will be getting a lot of data from matches to use in the first round of post-launch balancing, which could severely affect things.

A character that can sneak along walls deserves a high spot on the Bloodlines tier list.

What Are The Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodhunt Archetypes?

Brute

  • Clan: Brujah
  • Role: Sustained damage attacker
  • Archetype Power: Shock Wave Punch - emit a wave of energy that is even able to deflect bullets.
  • Passive Power: True Grit - replenish anywhere up to half of your health when not taking damage.

The Brute archetype is a definite front-line choice, thanks to the longer period of damage they can create. The aggressive character is headstrong and deals powerful attacks.

Enforcer

  • Clan: Ventrue
  • Role: Tank
  • Archetype Power: Unyielding Charge - A rush boost that deals good damage. It also silences foes for a short while, which means they cannot use any Vampire specific powers.
  • Passive Power: Subjugating Presence - Effects nearby enemies by slowing their movement, along with Ventrue Clan-wide alerts whenever new enemies come close.

The Enforcer is the newest archetype in Bloodhunt and is tagged as a juggernaut. They are strong fighters and can deal damage and disruption to enemies.

Muse

  • Clan: Toreador
  • Role: Support
  • Archetype Power: Rejuvenating Voice - This allows players to create a space that will heal themself and their allies. It will be broken if any damage is taken during the process.
  • Passive Power: Final Act - Can instantly charge cooldown periods when downed, allowing immediate use of Vampire powers.

As a support role, the Muse archetype provides an ‘active defense’; they can heal allies and themselves as well as dealing some damage.

Prowler

  • Clan: Nosferatu
  • Role: Massive damage attacker
  • Archetype Power: Scouting Famulus - The Prowler can use bats as scouts - which will show the enemy’s positions.
  • Passive Power: Sense the Beast - Any wounded enemies will leave a trail that they can track with this ability.

A ‘relentless hunter’, the Prowler of Nosferatu Clan is focused on tracking and hunting more than support or heavy damage.

Saboteur

  • Clan: Nosferatu
  • Role: Massive damage attacker
  • Archetype Power: Sewer Bomb - Saboteurs can throw bombs that release toxic gases, when enemies wander into it.
  • Passive Power: Unseen Passage - While crouching, they will turn invisible thanks to this passive.

Stealth is the name of the game for the Saboteur. There’s no barrage of attacks here, but patiently waiting to spring on unsuspecting enemies.

Siren

  • Clan: Toreador
  • Role: Support
  • Archetype Power: Blinding Beauty - Players can erupt into a blinding light which damages any enemies within reach.
  • Passive Power: Kindred Charm - Siren can charm civilians. This makes them friendly to them and the rest of the team.

Beauty is the Siren’s main weapon - just like the myths before them, they can manipulate and charm anyone. They can, and will, literally blind enemies.

Vandal

  • Clan: Brujah
  • Role: Sustained damage attacker
  • Archetype Power: Earth Shock - A move rather like a mini earthquake; a charged jump forwards that will scatter enemies with the shock wave.
  • Passive Power: Adrenaline Rush - Some damage resistance is added when enemies are close.

The Vandal of Brujah Clan is a very strong option. They’re best used in close combat, and brawls, due to their physical attacks.

What Are The Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodhunt Clans?

In Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodhunt, there are Clans. These are factions with different abilities and morals, with different Archetypes in each.

There are four clans so far - Brujah, Nosferatu, Toreador, and the newest Ventrue. The Nosferatu are stationed in the city’s underbelly and use tracking and stealth tactics. Brujahs are the muscle of the game, and the Toreadors focus on manipulation. The Ventre clan is all about power.

What Clan Abilities Are There In Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodhunt?

There is a web of abilities tied to each character in Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodhunt. Each clan has its own skill that each archetype in the clan shares, and then each separate archetype has their own unique passive and archetype skills. The passive skill is automatic, whereas the other two need activation.

The Brujah clan power is Soaring Leap - a very powerful forward jump. Nosferatu’s have Vanish, which as the name suggests makes them invisible, and faster, for a short time.

The Toreador clan can use Projection Dash, which allows them to cast a projection of themself, which they can then warp to. Finally, the Ventrue clan uses Flesh Of Marble; hardening their skin for a brief period, making them able to resist damage while offensive moves are not being used.

We'll have more Bloodhunt guides up as the game matures. Until then, though, check out what we know about the long-await Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 release date. The troubled project birthed this one, and the main event seemingly hasn't been cancelled yet.
