A Dragon Quest Dai tier list is set to be one of the best ways to keep your team crushing content. Now approaching its half-year anniversary, it's a good time to get involved: celebration events are throwing summons out left, right, and centre.
Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai: A Hero's Bonds is a lane-based JRPG mobile game based on the Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai manga series. It's a popular part of the larger franchise that has found its way into other Dragon Quest games over the years, and this newest mobile offering should help bring it to a new audience.

Unlike a few other games, the Dragon Quest Dai: A Hero's Bonds reroll process isn't blocked by a sketchy account deleted time limits or other nonsense.
It's a bit bland and repetitive, but learn to power through the combat tutorial and you'll get it done in no time. As for what to look out for and when to stop rerolling, that depends on your personal wants and needs: but we've outlined a few things to look out for below.
What Should I Aim For With a Dragon Quest Dai: A Hero's Bonds Reroll
Equipment | Character |
---|---|
Avan's Sword | Avan |
Knife of Papnica (Sun) | Dai |
Dragon Quest Dai: A Hero's Bonds isn't your typical gacha game. Rather than roll for characters, you roll almost exclusively for weapons for the characters you unlock along the way. At the start of the game, at least. These weapons have the chance of coming with powerful abilities you can use in battle, and the right one will get you far.
With no five-star items to speak of and only two pulls available on a standard reroll, you can't be too picky when it comes to creating multiple accounts for the best launch rewards. Right now, you can't roll for much more. Aim for the four-star Knife of Papnica (Sun) for Dai or Avan's Sword for, you guessed it, Avan. Land both and you'll fly through the game for a little while.
When Do I Unlock Soul Hunts in Dragon Quest Dai: A Hero's Bonds?
You'll unlock Soul Hunts and the Soul Crystals feature after clearing Chapter 1: Episode 9 - Marauders on the Beginner difficulty. It doesn't take long.

While most of the main cast grow in strength exponentially as the series goes on, characters like Dai and Avan use their power to defeat some of the story's most nefarious antagonists, landing them higher up the tier list in terms of their future power levels. We just expect more from them as the story progresses.
Support characters like Maam are a tad lower down purely because of their situational uses, whereas the main character of the new story, a hero you make yourself, isn't expected to top the rankings purely because you can net them for the hefty price of nought.
And that's it for this Dragon Quest Dai tier list for now. For more character rankings, check out the Cookie Run: Kingdom tier list. For something more serious, our Awaken: Chaos Era tier list and Mobile Legends tier list are both pretty helpful.
