The moment we've all been waiting for is fast approaching, the release of the coveted Team of the Year promotion.
The squad will feature the best performing players from across the last twelve months as voted for by you, the fans.
The squad will be officially released this Friday (January 19th), but it look as though we already know exactly who is set to feature.
Two Team Defence
There will be just two sides that feature in the defence of the Team of the Year squad, with Gianluigi Donnarumma set to edge out Edouard Mendy for the number one jersey.
Manchester City's Joao Cancelo and Ruben Dias will make up one half of a back four that will also feature Donnarumma's PSG teammates Marquinhos and Achraf Hakimi.
That means there will be no room for Premier League duo Antonio Rudiger and Trent Alexander-Arnold, both of whom were tipped to feature.
Premier League Midfield
Three players will feature in the midfield of the 11-man Team of the Year squad, with all three plying their trade in the English top flight.
The Chelsea pairing of N'Golo Kante and Jorginho will be joined by Manchester City's Kevin De Bruyne, after the three enjoyed a trophy-laden 2021.
No Salah?
Arguably the biggest shock of the prospective Team of the Year comes in the forward line, which looks set to be without Liverpool's Mohammed Salah.
Your votes have meant that it will be Kylian Mbappe who joins Lionel Messi and Robert Lewandowski in the front three.
There is still a chance for the Liverpool forward to feature though, with EA Sports set to announce a 12th man vote shortly after the release of the Team of the Year.
