Valorant is finally here, and while it has undoubtedly been a hit, many have felt disappointed by the amount of rewards to pursue if not looking to buy the premium battle pass.
Thankfully, Riot is looking to change this in the coming weeks according to one of the game's engineers, 'tehleach' on Reddit.
Responding to a call for new ways to show off in-game accomplishments, the engineer noted that "we've [Riot] got a few different systems in mind to provide mastery/time investment expression in VALORANT, they just unfortunately didn't make it for launch"
"I can't go into specifics but just know that we hear you and we want this stuff in the game too."
The developer also called out Apex's player cards and PUBG's mastery buddies as examples, so there's a good chance Valorant's reward will be akin to those instead of something like an exclusive character skin.
