Vexana is one of the older and scarier Mage heroes available in Mobile Legends. She's even more effective when allowed to snowball a game after stomping the mid-lane. Use that power to gank other lanes and you'll have a potent Mage carry on your hands.

The table above should give you all the at-a-glance information you need to take this Mobile Legends Vexana build into battle. Mobile Legends Vexana Abilities

Most of Vexana's active abilities are on low cooldowns, it's Vexana’s passive and ultimate ability that can be an absolute game-changer in almost any given in-game scenario.

Despite featuring fairly simple mechanics, Vexana's abilities have a few little nuances that really make them shine in battle. It's highly advised that you spend some time in a custom room to figure out her workings before heading into ranked. Given just how long Vexana has been around now, you might find players who haven't seen her in action at all. They're prime targets. Now, let’s take a look at what makes her tick.

Passive Ability – Necromancy Spell

Any time a hero takes damage from Vexana, Necromancy Spell will place a mark above their heads. If the marked target dies within five seconds of receiving the mark, they'll explode, dealing burst magic damage to nearby targets. That's right, she turns her targets into ticking timebombs.

Obviously, it's a great asset in team fights, but it makes for easy creep clears as well. Vexana can easily clear lanes, should you shouldn't ever risk falling behind on income.

First Ability – Charmed Specter

Vexana uses Charmed Specter to unleash a phantom power that rushes forward in a pre-determined straight line, damaging any enemies caught in its path. What makes this ability extremely efficient is the fact that whenever an enemy hero comes in contact with the phantom power, they lose control of their hero for a short duration and are affected by a “Horrified” debuff.

Second Ability – Nether Snare

Nether Snare allows Vexana to summon her cursed powers to deal huge bursts of magic damage in a small radius.

There's a bit of a delay on the detonation with this one, but that just makes it all the better for sticking behind enemy team's as a way to punish their retreat or discourage it from happening altogether. If the whole team is heading back, get ready for a clean chain kill if the Necromancy Spell is active.

Ultimate Ability – Cursed Oath

Cursed Oath places a debuff on the targeted enemy hero that continuously deals magic damage over time for a period of eight seconds. Once the curse timer runs out, Vexana creates a puppet of the enemy hero that can be controlled like any other champion. These attacks will also apply the Necromancy Spell, which can make for some killer combos.

Mobile Legends Vexana Ability Progression

Apart from obviously taking a point in your ultimate at levels 4,8, and 12 respectively, the best ability progression path for Vexana is by maxing out her second ability with as few points in her first ability as possible.

This Mobile Legends Vexana build will ensure that Nether Snare has an extremely low cooldown and can be cast multiple times in ganks and team fights. Nether Snare is also ideal for quickly pushing in creep waves during the laning phase.

The only situation where you should consider leveling up Charmed Specter before Nether Snare is when you are playing from behind and need the extra controlling ability to catch elusive heroes.

Mobile Legends Vexana Emblem

Given that Vexana is a mage category hero in Mobile Legends, the ideal emblem for the hero is definitely Mage. However, new players who might not have unlocked too many levels for Mage can also use the Magic emblem with the Magic Power Surge talent.

It's highly recommended that you use the Mage emblem with either the Magic Worship talent or the Impure Rage talent for optimal performance in the game.

Mobile Legends Vexana Spells

Spell
Reason
Purify
Ideal for purging off all debuffs and also gaining “control immunity” for a short duration.
Flameshot
Highly effective for knocking-back enemies who try to chase Vexana during an adverse engagement.
Flicker
Be it to catch an escaping enemy or to flee from an unfavorable gank, Flicker is definitely one of the best and most dependable spells for Vexana
Arrival
The ability to teleport to an allied unit is something that can change the entire outcome of a team fight making it extremely useful for Vexana in every game

Considering the fact that Vexana is a fairly squishy hero, the mage tends to rely heavily on her battle spell to survive or escape from unfavorable fights. Though Flicker is as good on her as it is any other character (for both engaging and retreating) a few other options can greatly benefit her playstyle. Check them out above.

Considering that Mobile Legends is a MOBA, there is no fixed item path for any hero in the game. The itemization for a specific hero depends entirely upon the progression of the game. Nevertheless, there are a few items that are bound to help the hero in almost every situation. Mana Regeneration and Magic Penetration are some good stats to aim for.

Gameplay Tips for Vexana

Being a burst-damage dealing mage in Mobile Legends, Vexana enjoys farming for resources and out-leveling her enemies with her passive ability in the mid-lane. When played to her full potential, the hero is capable of snowballing games single-handedly with an optimal start in the laning stage.

Nevertheless, despite being one of the simpler mages in the game, Vexana can require a fair bit of practice to understand the combination of her abilities. Having said that, the usual playstyle for the hero is to create plays and execute ganks on unsuspecting enemy heroes across the map. Considering the ability to create the clone of an enemy hero, Vexana can be extremely scary to face off against in a multiplayer game.

In case you find yourself facing trouble with the hero’s mechanics and passive movements, make sure to spend some time in a custom room to get used to Vexana’s performance in Mobile Legends before jumping back into a multiplayer lobby.
