March 20, 2023: Season Two Reloaded is well underway. Scroll down for the best Ashika Island landing spots to start a Resurgence match on the front foot.

Ashikia Island is a brand-new Resurgence map coming to Warzone 2 as part of the Season Two update. In comparison to Al Mazrah, it's a much smaller battleground meaning selecting the best Warzone 2 Ashika Island landing spots is even more important at the start of a match.

With Resurgence rules removing the gulag in favour of a respawn mechanic means you're more inclined to drop into a busier area of the map in a bid to score a couple of kills. As with all Warzone maps, some areas are bound to be more popular than others and there are a number of factors that separate an average landing spot from an excellent one.

But, before we share the best Ashika Island landing spots, check out our other guides showcasing the best Warzone 2 sniper rifle and all there is to know about the next Warzone 2 double XP event.

Where are the best Ashika Island landing spots?

Ashika Island features a total of seven main points of interest (POI) with the majority located on the coastline of the map. The two main inland POIs are the Tsuki Castle and Residential so there's every chance these areas of the map will prove extremely popular. With that said, let's take a closer look!

Tsuki Castle

Fans of multiplayer will notice that Tsuki Castle is a remake of the iconic Castle map that first appeared in World at War and most recently, Vanguard.

The central area of the castle is the same layout as the multiplayer map and with it being battle royale, expect plenty of supply boxes and cash stowed away in the rooms. As it's in the centre of the island, be prepared for an engagement around every corner.

If you're looking for a quieter place to land, check out the waterways underneath the castle. These underground canals provide some excellent routes to the Town Center, Water Treatment, and the Port which come in handy when avoiding the busier areas.

Residential - Apartments

The next place we recommend starting your match from are the apartment blocks found in the Residential POI. The two multi-storey buildings have a high chance of containing plenty of loot and with zip lines to access the rooftops easily, you can deal with any rooftop campers in the blink of an eye.

The buildings aren't far away from the shipwreck, meaning there are plenty of options when it comes to rotating during the latter stages of a match.

Ōganikku Farms - Greenhouses

The third and final landing spot we suggest starting your Resurgence match is the greenhouses located in the farms towards the north side of the island. There are numerous buildings containing weapons and cash, making it the perfect place to find some strong early-game loot.

Head south and you end up in the Town Center which makes for a great rotation as the circle closes in.
