Does Birdseye work in Warzone 2? That's a question on the minds of several players dropping into the battle royale. This particular perk plays an integral part in the Warzone 2 meta thanks to the benefits it provides over the course of a typical Warzone 2 match.

As attention slowly turns towards the Season Two update, the community hopes developers implement a heavy nerf to Birdseye and its game-changing benefits to players in Al Mazrah. The perk is so powerful, it's left many wondering if Ghost works as a viable counter.

Before we reveal if Birdseye works in Warzone 2, take a look at our other guides showcasing the best Warzone 2 AR and the latest intel on the next Warzone 2 double XP event taking place.

How does Warzone 2 Birdseye perk work?

When selected, Birdseye showcases the location and direction of enemy players when there's a UAV ping during a match. It works whenever a UAV is active providing players with a huge amount of intel without having to visit a buy station to earn one themselves.

It's part of the Recon perk package and at the time of writing, it's easily one of the very best to use when dropping into Al Mazrah.

Does Birdseye work?

During Season One Reloaded, Raven Software applied a bug fix so Ultimate perks are able to work in Warzone 2. This means Birdseye is working as intended.

As expected, many want it nerfed as part of the Season Two update in order to balance its incredible versatility and encourage perk variety.

Does Ghost counter Birdseye in Warzone 2?

With Ultimate perks now fixed, using Ghost while moving around the map should provide some protection from Birdseye but in the final weeks of Season One, there are no counters to Birdseye in Warzone 2. This is hugely frustrating as it provides anyone using it with a huge advantage with no way to combat it. Not even Ghost manages to block it.

With Season Two on the horizon, there is a high chance developers implement a nerf in order to restore balance but there are still a few weeks for you to take advantage of this hugely broken feature.
