When does Warzone 2 Resurgence solos return? That's a question on the minds of several Warzone 2 fans wanting to drop into Ashika Island as a lone wolf. Thanks to regular playlist updates from Raven Software, the ability to jump into Resurgence matches on your own is more difficult than many expected.
As attention turns towards the launch of Season Two Reloaded, many fans were left frustrated after developers promised a solo playlist would be available on a 24/7 basis rather than having to wait several weeks to play a mode where reliance on teammates doesn't matter.

When does Warzone 2 Resurgence solos return?

What is Warzone 2 Resurgence solo?
Resurgence Solo is a hugely popular playlist for the Ashika Island map. Unlike Al Mazrah, Resurgence doesn't feature a gulag meaning you redeploy into the action much quicker than usual.
The mode always features on the smaller of the two Warzone 2 maps, creating plenty of chaotic engagements as players try and become the last one standing.
Warzone 2 Resurgence solo tips
There are plenty of ways to gain the upper hand over the opposition over the course of a Resurgence solo match. After playing several matches we've found two tactics that prove extremely effective.
The first involves getting straight into the action. Land in a busy area of Ashika Island, grab a gun and start scoring the kills. You'll soon have enough cash to earn a loadout drop and your favourite weapons to dominate with ease.

Our second useful tip is for a more passive style of play. Rather than landing in a busy part of the map, spend a little longer in the entry plane and drop somewhere where you've got more time to build a solid starting loadout for the early game. You'll still have enough cash for a loadout but the ability to pick and choose your battles rather than get swarmed by multiple enemies is a surefire way to end up in the final stages of a Resurgence solos match.
