- Warzone players are glitching inside Rebirth Island's walls
- The exploit is ruining ranked Resurgence matches
- Are cheaters to blame?
A Warzone exploit is allowing players to climb inside the walls of Rebirth Island buildings much to the annoyance of those dropping into the action.
With the focus turning towards the start of Season 3 Reloaded, Ranked Resurgence continues to provide Warzone players with their fix of fast-paced competitive Call of Duty action. Unfortunately, the exploit is ruining the final stages of matches.
Instead of players battling it out in a fierce 1v1 duel to determine the winner, the eventual victor is hidden away inside the wall of a building giving them an unfair advantage and a guaranteed victory.
Uncovered by Reddit user jambo_1983, the player encountered an opponent stowed away in a nearby structure. The opponent has a perfect view of the action in addition to the cover of a wall.
After sending a report for the player taking advantage of an unintentional exploit, others shared their thoughts on players using the glitch to secure the win. One player says: "People whose last opportunity to compete in any lobby is to do this. These guys are so bad that deleting the game was on their to-do list until they heard about this."
Others reveal the glitch is also ruining ranked matches where SR is on the line in order to climb the division. Another fan says: "I lost more than 200 SR to such thing," resulting in them tumbling down the ladder through no fault of their own.
Raven Software often acts quickly when an exploit of this nature appears in Warzone. There's every chance the developer is hard at work on a fix to prevent players from gaining an advantage and stopping them from accessing the gaps between walls. For the time being, reporting players for using the exploit is the best course of action until the walls are filled in once and for all.
