What Is The Best M60 Loadout For Cold War Zombies?

It’s no secret that the M60 in Black Ops Cold War multiplayer is one of the worst weapons in the game, but in Zombies, it certainly has its place as one of the stronger weapons to use in the fight against the undead.

The slow movement speeds is the biggest drawback for this powerful LMG that is easily capable of slaying Zombies with deadly precision.

With Season 2 underway and plenty of weapons to select, the M60 is still overlooked but with the right attachments, its overall performance is improved significantly.

The slower rate of fire and movement speed means the M60 is suited to a slower style of play, capitalising on its immense stopping power rather than trying to outrun the hordes of the undead.

Higher damage output allows the M60 to excel at longer distances thanks to the lack of drop-off while its kick often results in plenty of headshots being scored.

M60 Cold War Zombies Attachments

Here are the best attachments to equip onto the M60:

  • Visiontech 2x (Optic)
  • 22.8” Match Grade (Barrel)
  • Bruiser Grip (Underbarerl)
  • SALVO 125 RND Fast Mag (Magazine)
  • Raider Stock (Stock)

The iron sight isn’t the best on the M60, so I went for the Visiontech 2x to provide a clear image of the intended target.

The rest of the attachments build on the M60’s high damage as well as providing some much-needed increases in overall mobility.

Is The M60 Good In Cold War Zombies?

Compared to other weapons in the arsenal, the M60 falls short in a number of areas despite the addition of a deadly attachment combination.

After I managed to find a strong power position, the M60 was performing well but thanks to its flaws, I often found myself staying in one specific area of the map to maximise performance.

The lack of mobility really lets it down, meaning I would recommend using the Stoner 63 if you’re after an effective and versatile LMG to use in Zombies.
