There are only 10 days left until the end of Fortnite Chapter 2 and the Fortnite Season 8 live event. "The End" will mark a major shift in the game as it transitions into Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 1 after a short Black Hole downtime.

The close of Chapter 2 is upon us, with only three days left until "The End." For many, this will be the first time witnessing the end of one Island and the birth of another. Others have experienced this before, and await with great anticipation, and maybe a bit of dread. It is hard to let go of the familiar and be thrust upon something so fresh and new.

It has all but been officially confirmed that the next Season will be the launch of Fortnite Chapter 3. Various files found in the Fortnite 18.40 update reference "The End" and "Chapter 2 Finale" when it comes to the Season 8 Live Event.

Looks like Naruto fans will get to see the popular ninja from Anime and Manga in Fortnite before the end of the Season. Fortnite 18.40 drops on November 16, 2021, and will feature a Naruto skin and Hidden Leaf Village Creative Hub!

It is looking very likely that next season will NOT be Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 9, but instead Chapter 3, Season 1. While this has not been confirmed, if it is the case then fans can expect the Season 8 live event to be a pretty grande finale to an excellent Chapter.
When Does Fortnite Season 8 End?
Fortnite Season 8 is scheduled to end on December 4th at 4 p.m. EST, according to Epic Games and the timing of the Chapter 2 Finale. However, Epic Games is no stranger to extending a season.
So there's a very small chance that Fortnite Season 8 might get extended. There's no guarantee that it will happen, but it's a chance nevertheless.
The servers for the game will go down once the live event has ended. And once they're back up, we'll be ushered into Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 1.
There's still some time for the current season to end, so let's just brace ourselves and face the wrath of the Cube Queen.
