When Is Elder Scrolls 6 Coming Out?

Now that Microsoft has finalized their acquisition of Bethesda, many fans are worried about Elder Scrolls 6 and the fact that it might not come to their preferred consoles, particularly the PlayStation 5.

As we wait for more news, especially after how vague Microsoft’s response was to these games coming to third-party consoles, fans have started to wonder when we’ll even see a release date for Elder Scrolls 6, especially since we haven’t seen an update on the game since E3 2019.

When Is Elder Scrolls 6 Coming Out?

When the game was first shown, Bethesda did not offer an Elder Scrolls 6 release date, nor did they give it an official title.

All fans got was a CGI trailer of some mountains before the game’s name popped up, which did excite a number of fans, only because they were glad to see the installment finally confirmed.

Since then, there has been no update on the game or its release, with several folks at Bethesda claiming that we won’t see it for a very long time.

The lack of an Elder Scrolls 6 release date is probably due to Starfield, an original IP that Bethesda is prioritizing before the next Elder Scrolls installment.

Considering the varying quality of Bethesda games as of late, we’re hoping that this sci-fi RPG leans on the side of good, even with the usual bugs that plague a Bethesda game.

Something like Fallout 76 arguably got good after a number of updates but that still has fans worried about the company’s next game.

It’s safe to assume that a proper Elder Scrolls 6 release date is far off, though the game will likely come to the Xbox Series X and PC, with a small possibility of it coming to the PS5 if Microsoft allows it.

We’re sure they’ll make Sony pay a pretty penny for it, unless they just want wider coverage for the game.

Don’t expect a release date for Elder Scrolls 6 anytime soon.
