When is Darkest Dungeon 2 coming to Steam? Red Hook Studios finally released Darkest Dungeon 2, the sequel to Darkest Dungeon (obviously) in October, but it's an Epic Games Store exclusive for now.
When Is Darkest Dungeon 2 Coming to Steam?
Currently, Darkest Dungeon 2 is a Epic Games Store exclusive, so PC players aiming to play this game's early content only have one option. We say early because despite the long development time and official release, Darkest Dungeon 2 isn't technically available in its final form yet - only in early access.
The developers have yet to reveal any official release dates for the Steam release of this game, though we expect that will change as development nears completion, if only because the original Darkest Dungeon game is also available on Steam.

How Long Is Epic Games Store Exclusivity?
Most PC titles that entered Epic Games Store exclusivity have also been released on other platforms after some time. Notable games such as Supergiant Games' Hades and Gearbox Software's Borderlands 3 were exclusives, but are available via Steam, usually after one year or six months on the EGS.
After a year of exclusivity in 2018, Hades was finally available on Steam on December 19, 2019. Meanwhile, Borderlands 3 left its Epic Games Store exclusivity after six months and was also purchasable on Steam at around March 2020.
If Darkest Dungeons 2 follows the trend of these other PC games, it may also leave wind up on Steam at around April 2022 at the earliest or perhaps October 2022 at the most. However, it's subject to change based on the game's development progress and whatever the terms of the deal between Red Hook and Epic were.
