Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6 did a lot to reinvigorate the game to veteran players, with animals to capture and more characters to unlock, it’s always a treat seeing what Epic Games will do to make the game even more appealing and they seem to have enough awareness to know what they should be adding to this shooter, though adding Neymar Jr has gotten a bit of a mixed reaction.
Granted, Fortnite has been adding licensed characters from Marvel, DC, and Star Wars, along with a number of classic video game skins, but adding a real-life athlete has been weird, though fans are interested in unlocking Neymar Jr once he arrives in Fortnite and it looks like fans will be waiting a while before they get to do that.

When Will The Neymar Jr Skin Release In Fortnite?
Neymar Jr will be coming to Fortnite on April 28 so it’s gonna take a while to get him, though it does give players time to save up for a Battle Pass, which is needed if players want to add him to their unlocked skins.
There’s currently no way to get the character early so if you’re a fan of Naymar Jr and his accomplishments in Football, purchase that Battle Pass and hope that he’ll look cool when his skin comes out.
It will be interesting to see if other athletes end up appearing in Fortnite after Neymar Jr, with some sports fans likely salivating for Michael Jordan or David Beckham next.
Obviously, time is going to tell that story but being able to witness history, even if it's for something this minor, should be fun.
Fortnite is now available on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PC, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices.
