Wisdom Gaming continues its foray into esports with Torrent. After establishing successful teams competing in Rocket League and Apex Legends, the squad is expanding its roster of talent.
With Halo Infinite alive and flouring, Torrent has announced the signing of a brand new team to compete in the forthcoming Halo Championship Series. Torrent's new roster of talent will compete in this weekend's North American Regional Championship tournament.
Torrent Announces Their First Halo Infinite Esports Team
This event will take place in Anaheim from the 11th till the 13th of February. As per NA regional tournaments, Torrent will compete with other teams for a chance to take home $125,000. Cloud9 previously took home the prize but other teams, including Torrent, are looking to dethrone the team.
The team's roster of players include a mixture of Halo veterans and rising stars:
- Gavin “HotShotGhost” Brewer
- Austin “Abature” Johansen
- Brant “Huss” Hussey
- Oliver “FilthyG” Gerlach
Torrent joins other teams in partnership with the HCS, including FaZe Clan, Fnatic, G2, Na’Vi, Sentinels, Cloud9, Envy, eUnited, and Spacestation Gaming.
