Will Elder Scrolls 6 Come To PS5?

Microsoft has finalized their purchase of Bethesda, which has led to many gamers worrying about some of their favorite franchises being Xbox exclusive, particularly, The Elder Scrolls 6.

Some Bethesda games that were previously announced for other consoles will still come out like Deathloop and Psychonauts 2, but anything that will be announced after those games will have a less likely chance of appearing elsewhere, with many worried that Elder Scrolls 6 won’t come out on the PS5.

Will Elder Scrolls 6 Come To PS5?

As of this writing, Bethesda and Microsoft have yet to confirm if The Elder Scrolls 6 will come to PS5 or if it’s going to be exclusive to Xbox, which has a lot of people worried since they’ve been playing Skyrim on PS3 and PS4.

Microsoft and Bethesda have been playing coy about these games coming to other consoles, claiming that it was within the realm of possibility but would rather focus on new games for Xbox Games Pass.

If Sony and Microsoft are able to play nice, there’s a small chance that The Elder Scrolls 6 will come to Xbox first before eventually coming to PS5, similar to how Final Fantasy VII Remake is currently a PS4 exclusive until a certain amount of time.

This does seem unlikely since the Xbox desperately needs some first-party exclusives to combat Sony and Nintendo, especially since they only have Halo and Gears of War to brag about.

Unless Microsoft announces The Elder Scrolls 6 as an exclusive game only available on the Xbox Series X, we can’t say anything about where the game will end up.

Since Bethesda has been able to garner so much interest for their gaming franchises, it would be wise for Sony and Nintendo to play nice with Microsoft, which has already happened as games like Cuphead were able to make it on PS4 and Nintendo Switch.

We don’t know when The Elder Scrolls 6 will be coming out but the game will definitely come to Xbox Series X.
