With many long-time lovers of The Witcher 3 deciding to return to the game in order to check out its freshly released and free next-gen update, the streets of The Continent are bustling with more life than they’ve seen in a good while.

For those jumping back into the body of the white wolf on PC, there are already a lot of new mods which, when updated to work with the newest version of the game, will be able to add a bit of extra spice to CDPR’s additions, for those who feel that’s necessary.

Some of these focus on improving distant vistas or giving Geralt a ZZ Top-worthy beard or a Cyberpunk 2077-inspired outfit, however, if you want something that can improve your game right now and are a stickler for good grammar, a new mod might be worth adding to your load order.

If you’re starting a new game to celebrate The Witcher 3’s next-gen update, you can now make sure you won’t be subjected to any typos

The mod in question is called ‘Grammar of the Path - Next Gen Enabled’ and is the work of modder PaulR0013, whose previous mods have given Geralt the ability to change the weather via a magical artefact and changed the game’s loading screens.

This time, they’ve seemingly decided to delve into the game’s incredibly detailed quest log, character pages and bestiary in order to fix some minor mistakes in the copy that might not bother most people, but could be enough to make an English scholar lose their cool.

From getting rid of typos to ensuring that text accurately reflects what happens in-game and even revising formatting and line spacing, PaulR0013 definitely looks to have gone to town on offending entries and passages in the name of immersion, claiming to have edited over 1.5k lines in total.

Also, if you’re planning on jumping back into Cyberpunk 2077 to prepare for the release of its Phantom Liberty expansion once you’ve breezed through your next-gen Witcher playthrough, you might want to check out another recently released mod from PaulR0013.

Named ‘Grammar of Night City’, this mod aims, with the help of psiberx’s ‘ArchiveXL’, to make similar corrections to Cyberpunk’s array of quest recaps, character bios and even text messages, ensuring that Night City’s education system has done a good job of churning out accomplished wordsmiths.
