Due to the pandemic, the format of the 2021 world championship changed to cater for East and West regions but as the world begins to return to normal, details on the 2022 event have appeared.

How to Compete in COD Mobile World Championship 2022
You can begin your journey to the World Championship finals on March 31 when the first stage of Solo Play begins. If you can make it through all of the stages, a chance of competing on the big stage is up for grabs when the finals take place in December.
How to Watch COD Mobile World Championship 2022
Streams will begin once the Regional Playoffs get underway. The events will be shown on the COD Mobile Esports YouTube channel so be sure to check there for information on when the next event takes place.
COD Mobile World Championship 2022 Schedule
As mentioned earlier, the first stage of the competition begins in March, with various stages leading to the finals taking place at an offline event in December. Check out the full schedule below:
- Solo Play - March (Stage 1)
- Team Play - May (Stage 2)
- Regional Qualifiers - June/July (Stage 3)
- Regional Playoffs - August (Stage 4)
- Finals - December (Stage 5)
Details on each of the five stages are minimal but we do know that players looking to qualify need to play ten Ranked matches and earn 60 points to secure a spot in Stage 2.
