Due to the success of 2K22, WWE 2K23, the following instalment within the WWE 2K video game franchise, has generated a lot of buzz among fans of wrestling games. 2K Games decided not to develop 2K21 in response to the underwhelming sales of the previous year's game. However, the series is back with a bang, leading to fans wanting to know the WWE 2K23 roster.
In this guide, we'll run through all the confirmed wrestlers for WWE 2K23 so far. That includes some very familiar faces, with a smattering of new wrestlers in there too, to keep things fresh.

WWE 2K23 roster - All confirmed wrestlers
Much of the available wrestler roster for WWE 2K23 has already been revealed, and the game will debut with a sizeable roster. As new wrestlers join or leave the WWE, the enormous roster is always changing. A significant section of that roster is made playable, and gamers also have the chance to create and modify their own wrestlers. Legendary superstars who have already retired but are still adored are also included.
The roster currently has 65 confirmed superstars. However, as WWE 2K23's release date approaches, more names will probably be added to the roster, with other additions coming in DLC after the game's debut. By the completion of its cycle, 2K22 had about 228 playable wrestlers, therefore WWE 2K23's roster is far from full. Since only a few NXT wrestlers are on the roster, the final roster is anticipated to have more NXT athletes.

New wrestlers in WWE 2K23
WWE 2K23's roster includes a few new names in addition to the well-known ones. Two-time NXT Champion Bron Breakker, who made his WWE debut in a bout in 2021, represents the NXT Brand.
Kurt Angle returns to the WWE game series in WWE 2K23, which fixes a flaw in 2K22 by omitting him from the previous release. It will be Cody Rhodes' first WWE appearance since 2K17, since he made his comeback to the company in 2022, following a six-year absence.
Bad Bunny, a rapper, musician, and professional wrestler will also make his debut in a WWE video game, but only for gamers who pre-order the game.
The world of wrestling, and by implication, the world of wrestling gamers, has experienced some instability over the past several years. The rapid growth of AEW attracted numerous WWE legends, many of whom have since made a comeback, resulting in changes throughout the WWE roster. Players may now eagerly anticipate the release of WWE 2K23 and its currently 65 confirmed superstars, with more expected down the line.
