WWE 2K25 will bring a ton of new gameplay mechanics. Recently, 2K Games showcased some of the things players can expect when they get their hands on the game this March 14.

With a quick two-minute trailer posted on WWE 2K's YouTube channel on February 7, the developers gave fans a quick glance at some of the features the game will introduce.

There's plenty to unpack. Just in the first few seconds alone, things such as wrestlers being able to use the barricades outside the ring, new backstage brawls locales, and of course, the biggest addition to the franchise in years: intergender matches.

For players focused on modes such as MyGM and MyFaction, there are some interesting tidbits of information dropped. 2K already confirmed that MyGM was going to be playable online with up to four players in a single save.

The trailer also showed some of the new General Managers players will be able to select. That includes the likes of Shawn Michaels, Nick Aldis, and CM Punk.

The trailer doesn't showcase it, but cross-brand PLEs will be a thing. A welcomed addition that will add some spice to the game.

MyFaction players will get to experience a new mode called World Tour. It's hard to decipher what it will play like, but by the looks of it, it could be a single-player mode where players take their dream roster and conquer multiple regions across the USA and possibly more locations.

Sadly, intergender wrestling won't be a part of those two modes. A disappointing confirmation by 2K Games. Still, the new changes could keep fans happy if implemented correctly.

Finally, the trailer ends with a quick tease of The Island. Rumors state that it will be a semi-open world where players will get to be a part of the Bloodline. If you're on PC or last-gen consoles, don't expect to play this mode, as it's only available for Xbox Series and PlayStation 5 users.

If you fancy any of the things shown in the trailer, WWE 2K25 is releasing on March 14 for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, and PlayStation 5. You'll be able to play on March 7 by pre-ordering the Bloodline or Deadman editions.
