Xbox’s Indiana Jones and the Great Circle was officially revealed and fans were delighted with everything they saw, especially from a gameplay perspective. Hardcore Indy fans were also happy to see the iconic character look like Harrison Ford, though it was stated quickly that he wouldn’t be voicing the role.
Entertainment Weekly confirmed that Harrison Ford provided his likeness for the game but he’s going to be voiced by industry veteran Troy Baker. Gamers are more than familiar with Baker’s work, as the actor has starred in numerous titles, including The Last of Us and Uncharted 4.
"He really brings forward that charm and sense of humor in such a good way," MachinesGames’ co-founder and lead game designer Jerk Gustafsson said about Baker. "He's also a very big Indiana Jones fan, which is super cool. So he's also very invested in the game."
Baker is often excellent in his roles and we’re sure he will do the same when Indiana Jones comes to Xbox Series. With plenty of areas and nazis to shoot through, we’re sure that Baker will bring his A-game for the upcoming Xbox Series exclusive.
MachineGames’ Indiana Jones game was officially shown yesterday, complete with a gameplay trailer that blew everyone away. The company has always made great games where nazis are the enemy, so seeing the company continue this tradition with this Xbox Series exclusive is great.
Fans can expect to see a ton of locations in the game, from The Vatican to Egypt, a ton of nazis are going to get shot in a variety of settings. Hopefully, the game lives up to the hype since fans have been let down by trailers before, but MachineGames’ reputation indicates good things. It also has the potential to be the best Indiana Jones game ever, even if that isn’t a high bar to jump over.
