Some players will want to download everything they can the day they get a new console, others have a limit on how much they can download.
Perhaps it's due to internet caps, or maybe your internet speeds are slow at the best of times!
If this is you then you may be in luck, a little Christmas miracle with your new console.

How To Limit Download Speed
If you have your games to update automatically, you might not realise how much of your network bandwidth you've been using.
Certain service providers will limit the amount you can download per month.
Which can be an issue when playing multiple games that require downloads.
Unfortunately, you can't actually put a cap on the Xbox downloads although you can manually update games to keep track of how much you're using.
Press the Xbox button and go to Profile & System.
Then select Settings, System then Updates & Downloads.
Untick the box that says 'Keep my games & apps up to date'.

Now when launching a game it will notify you of an update and you can choose to do it or not.
If you want to see all the games needing updates press the Xbox button, then select My games & apps, See all, Manage then Updates.
For now, that's the best we can do but hopefully, we'll get a capping feature in the future.
