Looking for a good Yae Miko build? The shrine maiden of Narukami Island is an Electro Catalyst, and an incredibly useful unit at that.
Yae isn't just a regular shrine maiden, but is actually a descendant of Kitsune lineage, and serves the Electro archon in a similar way to how the Adeptus served Morax. In this build guide, we'll go through her abilities, and what materials you're going to need to stock up on to ascend her.
And that's our Genshin Impact Yae Miko guide. If you're planning to wish on any of the upcoming reruns in version 2.4, we have lists for both Zhongli materials and Ganyu materials. They're the two reruns for the pre-Yae patch you may have picked up by now. For other potential new character reveals, the Kamisato Ayato release date may be of interest.
How to get Yae Miko in Genshin Impact
Yae, as a 5-Star unit, doesn't appear often in Genshin Impact. Players wanting to pull for her will need to wait for her banner to get a rerun. Thankfully, during the second half of Version 3.2, she is getting her long-awaited first rerun, alongside Tartaglia.
Yae Miko's banner will run from November 18 - December 7, 2022.
What are Yae Miko's abilities
Yae's kit focuses on the attack more than defence or support and makes her a quick and devastating Electro unit. You'll need to use a good Catalyst weapon to keep up with her skills.
- Normal Attack: Spirit Fox Sin-Eater
- Yae Miko's normal attack summons Kitsune spirits, performing three attacks that deal Electro damage.
- Elemental Skill
- Her Sesshou Sakura move creates a small AoE, dealing constant Electro damage. The more Sakura there are, the more powerful the move. Up to three can be placed at once.
- Elemental Burst
- Yae's burst, Tenko Kenshin, summons lighting to deal a bigger AoE, with thunderbolts hitting the ground.

The local speciality item that Yae needs are Sea Ganoderma plants, found all over the coasts of Inazuma. You can also grow these in your Serenitea Pot.
