Hitman 3 - Year 2 Implements PC VR, New Maps, Modes and More

Hitman 3 marked the end of IO Interactive's rebooted World of Assassination trilogy, but they're not easing up support yet. Following DLC based on the seven deadly sins, IO's now confirmed some big plans for Year 2, which begins on January 20th 2022.

As outlined on their official blog, if you're playing on PC, IO Interactive confirmed a technical update will add "performance and optimization" enhancements, including Ray Tracing support. Virtual reality support also arrives on PC, which was previously exclusive to PSVR.

But that's not all. New maps are promised and an "Elusive Target Arcade" is a new mode coming to all platforms, said to provide the “ultimate Elusive Target challenge in a change to the established formula.” Finally, a further major update is planned for Spring 2022, though that's presently being kept under wraps.
