What are the best Yoimiya builds?
Yoimiya shows great potential as a Pyro DPS unit, with fast, effective attack moves and some aggressive Elemental Skill and Burst that allow her to trigger Elemental Reactions and maximize her damage output. Due to her Crit Rate values, she can also excel as a Crit DPS on the battlefield, so any way you want to approach her builds is fine.
Below are two of the best Yoimiya builds right now. You can keep reading to find out the hows and whys of these particular Yoimiya builds, but if you've used her before, you'll quickly understand the thought process behind her best weapon and artifact choices.
Role | Best Weapon | Best Artifacts | Alternative Artifacts |
---|---|---|---|
Pyro DPS Build | Thundering Pulse | Crimson Witch of Flames (4 Pieces) | Gladiator's Finale (2 Pieces) & Crimson Witch of Flames (2 Pieces) |
Crit DPS Build | Skyward Harp | Berserker (4 Pieces) | Berserker (2 Pieces) & Gladiator's Finale (2 Pieces) |
Pyro DPS Yoimiya build
Since the idea of this build relies on spamming your Elemental Skills as Main DPS and triggering reactions with your party members, there is not a real difference between the weapons suggested above; it’s more about what’s convenient for you since both bows act perfectly well, with Amos' Bow being a bit better.
Regarding Yoimiya's artifacts, Crimson Witch of Flames provides a more than interesting effect while using the four Pieces of this set. That being said, if you wanna feel safer and invest in extra Attack, you can also mix a 2-2 set of Crimson Witch of Flames and Gladiator's Finale.
Crit DPS Yoimiya build
This Yoimiya build relies on her natural Critical Rate and Critical damage without focusing too much on elemental reactions. With a great native Critical Rate and a significant augment to Yoimiya’s Physical Attack and Critical Damage Values, the Skyward Harp sword plays really well as an all-rounder piece of equipment.
On the artifact side, the Berserker set gives a huge buff to Critical Rate when you use the four Pieces and it's really easy to get, which makes it the perfect choice. If you feel like it could use more attack, you can make a 2-2 mixed set with Gladiator's Finale
Character | Element |
---|---|
Yoimiya | Pyro |
Bennett | Pyro |
Xingqiu | Hydro |
Zhongli | Geo |

Weapons like the Skyward Harp that boost Critical Rate, or the Amos Bow and its Damage boost effect, are the only real good options for these builds.
