The Legend of Zelda: The Missing Link Answers The Questions We Had Before Majora's Mask

Have you ever wondered what happened to Link between Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask?

While we all know that the games follow each other in the story, not much is highlighted about what happened between that time period.

Thanks to Kaze Emanuar, who normally mods Mario games, has made an all-new Legend of Zelda game to help answer those questions in a game called The Legend of Zelda: The Missing Link.

The Legend of Zelda: The Missing Link

While this story is simply fan-created and not canon, it's an interesting take on the story especially as it introduces a few new things.

One of the new items is the Magic Hourglass, which will let Link travel back in time by 10 seconds to help solve puzzles.

Some serious thought has been put into this story, as evident by the new dialogue and subtle changes to the environment. For example, Kokiri Forest is now slightly browner as the Deku Tree has now died.

While many of us are waiting for Breath of the Wild 2 news, this is a nice distraction and can certainly set our imagination run wild while we try to establish what the next step for Zelda is.

Could the new story give us some idea of what happened in this period of Hyrule?
