Here you will find out how to get the Barbarian Armor Set in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. With the release of Tears of Kingdom, players have been looking to find all sorts of powerful armour sets. One of them is the Barbarian Armor Set, which was in Breath of the Wild as well.
The Barbarian Armor is a very stylish armour set that will also grant extra attacking damage when worn. It is not excellent in terms of defence, but the bonus damage is worth the trouble of finding it.
How to get the Barbarian Armor Set in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
The Barbarian Armor Set is split into three parts: Barbarian Helm, Barbarian Armor, and Barbarian Leg Wraps. They are spread across the map in secret caves. Let's have a look at where we can find each of them!
How to get the Barbarian Helm
The first cave is found in the Necluda region in the spot marked on the map below. The coordinates for this cave are 1305, -2397, 0062. This cave is a maze puzzle that you must solve to acquire the helmet, but we have got the directions for you.
Upon entering the cave, the first room has several hallways. You must take the right one. That will lead you to another room, filled with statues and walls barricaded by rocks. You will need to destroy the rocks by either using an explosive like a bomb flower, which can be found in the cave, or by using a stone hammer that you can craft by attaching a nearby stone to your sword. The route you will need to choose this time is the most left one, which three of the statues in the room are looking towards.
This next room is full of enemies that you can either defeat, or pass through if you are quick enough. In this room, there is a rock pile in the middle, similar to the ones blocking the way in the previous room. You will need to destroy these rocks as well, which will reveal a hole in the ground that leads to the next room.
The last puzzle is several platforms, each surrounded by a different number of statues. The correct platform is the right one with three statues. You need to step on this platform and use the Ascend ability to pass to the final room, containing the chest with the Barbarian Helm.
How to get the Barbarian Armor
The second cave is located east of the Hyrule Castle, in the spot marked on the map below. The coordinates for this cave are 0494, 0731, 0041. This one is guarded by a Stone Talus, a big stone golem. You can avoid fighting it if you’re careful enough, and sneak past.
The cave is a large room with a pond in the middle where the Stone Talus sleeps, but will awake if you step near. You will need to either defeat it or sneak around the edges of the room to get past it.
The spot you are looking for is at the very end of the cave, where you will find a large mineral glowing with a bright turquoise colour. It is marked by a spear on each side. You will need to blow it up with explosives. The cave is full of bomb flowers that you can attach to an arrow and shoot at the mineral.
Blowing up the mineral will reveal a hole in the wall that you need to climb through, into a room containing the chest with the Barbarian Armor.
How to get the Barbarian Leg Wraps
The last cave is located on the border of East Necluda and Mount Lanayru. The coordinates for this cave are 3934, -2069, 0128. You will need to melt some snow with fire. We recommend bringing several pieces of Fire Fruit with you, as well as warm clothes to ensure you don't take environmental damage.
This cave is very long and has a ravine in the middle. You need to go deeper into the cave on top of the right ledge of the ravine. There will be some enemies, but you can just simply run right past them.
After a while, you will encounter an Ice Like on the wall. It is a white worm-like plant with freezing breath. You need to defeat the Ice Like and use your glider to get across the ravine.
There you will find a chest covered in snow. Here is where the Fire Fruit comes to the rescue. You need to attach it to your bow and shoot it into the snow. Three shots should melt the snow, and reveal the chest containing the Barbarian Leg Wraps.
