The first season of Black Ops Cold War has been underway for almost a month now.
The game has been having great success since it released back in November.
One aspect of the multiplayer that a lot of players were disappointed with, was the lack of a final killcam.
The final killcam was synonymous with the previous Call of Duty's, but it has been replaced with the best play showcasing.
Now, a Treyarch developer has confirmed that the beloved killcam will be making a return soon!
Confirmed
Lead Game Designer over at Treyarch, Matt Scronce responded to a tweet from TheMW2Ghost confirming the return of the final killcam.
Here's the exchange of tweets!
Like I played MW SnD for the entire year just trying to hit an insane random cross map tomahawk shot for the final Killcam. It’s all I’ve EVER wanted to do in cod, BOCW has killed that ever happening lol. @MaTtKsmy man, please consider this - TheMW2Ghost
We have a design ready for a hybrid system that will play Best Play or Final Kill depending on what ends the round. No ETA on when that gets implemented until we’re back from our holiday break. - Matt Scronce
As of now, we do not know when this killcam is going to make an appearance in the game.
For now, we will have to wait for when Treyarch implements this into their game.
Be sure to let us know what your thoughts are regarding the return of the final killcam!
