COD 2020 will see Treyarch and Raven Software collaborate to create this year's FPS juggernaut, with Beenox helping to develop the PC side of things.
The Black Ops 1 sequel brings in familiar faces to support the campaign mode such as Alex Mason, Frank Woods, and Jason Hudson.
Now, players have had all weekend to check out the new game; and there is a lot of content within.
With the release of Season 1 just a few weeks away, there is bound to be more content added soon.
We can assume there will be a Season 1 battle pass as well; which we will be able to buy for COD Points.
COD Points are Call of Duty's form of virtual currency; similar to Fortnite's Vbucks.
Players can spend real money on a certain amount of points, which can be used to purchase skins; operators, and even the battle pass.
Although we cannot purchase any yet, there are some ways to obtain some.
Here's how!
Zombies
Multiple players have discovered a cheeky way to unlock 1500 FREE COD Points within the zombies game mode.
This is a brand new easter egg noted by players, and we have developed a full guide which can be found here.
But, here is a rundown of the guide:
Firstly grab a weapon you like with a decent cope, such as a sniper rifle, and head to the pack-a-punch machine.
Here, apply the Died Wire ammo mod to it. You don’t have to splash out on the max tier, the basic Tier 1 will do fine!
Next up you’ll need to find four satellites across the map, and when you find them you’ll have to shoot them with your Dead Wire weapon.
They can be found in any order, so don’t worry if you miss one out and have to go back.
You’ll have to shoot each of them several times, you’ll know when to stop as the satellite will shoot off a blue spark cloud when it enters the right position.
The satellites can be found in four locations:
- Yard
- Penthouse
- Pond X2
You’ll know when you have succeeded as blue bolts will fire from each and converge in the middle of the map.
TheGamingRevolution has posted a YouTube noting this easter egg as well.
