Black Ops Cold War: New Leaks Suggest League Play Coming In Season 2

The first season of Black Ops Cold War has been underway for almost a month now.

The game has been having great success since it released back in November.

One aspect of the multiplayer that a lot of players were disappointed with was the missing League Play mode.

The competitive playlist for Call of Duty was first introduced back in Black Ops 2, and it was not included with the release of Black Ops Cold War.

Now, new rumors suggest that the game mode will become playable with the release of Season 2!

Here's what we know.

Although it has been confirmed in some capacity, a definitive release window has yet to be confirmed.

With the start of the 2021 Call of Duty League beginning on February 11th, could we see League Play arrive soon?

Leaks

Reknowned Call of Duty leaker, Tom Henderson was streaming the night of January 3rd, 2021.

During this stream, the leaker noted the following regarding League Play.

I don't really wanna talk about time frames but, League Play is secluded for Q1. So that's between Jan and March.

So we should see it in Season 2, or halfway during Season 2. If not, during the beginning of Season 3. Then if not, then who knows.

Whether or not Tom's sources are correct is unknown as of now.

It would surprise us if League Play does not release with Season 2 however.

But for now, we will have to wait and see!
