Black Ops Cold War Zombies: The ‘Chaos Story’ Returning?

Actor Andrew Morgado has been teasing his involvement in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War on Instagram.

The news comes courtesy of a video by YouTuber DKDynamite, which in turn cites a tweet by @GirlGlitcher, who was among the first to notice Morgado’s post.

The tease is pretty vague — mostly just a teaser trailer for Cold War and the game’s key art — but it’s meaningful for a couple of reasons.

Morgado simply captioned the trailer: “Cool stuff is happening.”

Bruno from Black Ops 4

First of all, Morgado’s only prior credit as a Call of Duty voice actor (according to the actor’s IMDb entry) is for the role of Bruno Delacroix.

Bruno is one of the characters in Black Ops 4’s “Chaos” story — one of several Zombies experiences in the 2018 game.

“Bruno is a former gangster with a violent past,” Delacroix’s Call of Duty wiki page explains.

“He has tried his entire life to escape from it. At some point he ran away and joined the French army before meeting Alistar Rhodes, who gave Bruno a chance to redeem himself. Since then, Bruno has considered himself in Rhodes debt and will do anything to repay him.”

The Chaos Story

The Chaos story serves as the connective tissue of Black Ops 4’s Zombies lore, and features maps like “Voyage of Despair,” “Dead of the Night,” and “Ancient Evil.”

Cold War’s Zombies mode has yet to be officially revealed, but it’s of course a longtime series tradition for Treyarch.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is set to release on November 13.

Warzone Season 5

Modern Warfare and Warzone both got a big seasonal update on August 5.

The update introduced a new battle pass; new maps for 6v6 multiplayer, Ground War, and Gunfight; and of course a season’s worth of new modes, Operators, weapons, and cosmetic rewards.
