Best Modern Warfare 3 MTZ 556 attachments

The Modern Warfare 3 gunsmith contains all kinds of different attachments capable of transforming any weapon to suit any style of play imaginable. But, after some testing, we've uncovered a set of five that's excellent for multiplayer action:

• Muzzle: HMRES Mod Suppressor
• Barrel: MTZ Drifter Heavy Long Barrel
• Stock: EXF Close Quarters Assault Stock
• Underbarrel: Bruen Heavy Support Grip
• Ammunition: 5.56 Nato High Grain

With the classic mini-map back in action, the first attachment we've selected is the HMRES Mod Suppressor. This keeps your location concealed when firing the MTZ 556 and also provides a boost to bullet velocity, to guarantee damage drop-off doesn't increase the time to kill even further.

Next, the MTZ Drifter Heavy Long Barrel introduces some additional firepower, enabling you to contend with other AR players from afar thanks to the extra damage output and recoil control.

For some additional recoil control, the EXF Close Quarters Assault Stock is the best to select alongside the 5.56 Nato High Grain ammunition which provides even more control for long-range engagements.
