By completing daily challenges, Guardians earn points. The class with the most points at the end of the next three weeks will be named champion – and they'll get a "permanent reminder" in the tower to prove that they're the dominant class. Interestingly, this will stay around for an entire year – suggesting that we'll get another set of Guardian Games next year.

Expect fresh new armour (including new metallic class items) and a new exotic weapon known as Heir Apparent. This Solar machine gun was originally featured in this season's reveal trailer, but with the Guardian Games being free for all players, you don't need to buy the Season Pass to take part.

Season of the Worthy has been somewhat disappointing so far, so here's hoping Guardian Games gives players a reason to log in.
