Season 11 Name Leak? - 9th June
Just hours before the full announcement of Season 11, it looks as though we have a name for the upcoming content.
According to a PlayStation store listing, the new season will be called Season of Arrivals - possibly tying in with the Darkness finally appearing.
Season 11 Announcement Soon - 29th May
Good news, Guardians – not only are we likely to get a Season 11 announcement in the next week or two, but it'll include details on the expansion coming this Fall.
You can find out more here, but it looks as though we'll finally find out more about "The Darkness".
Potential Leaks - 8th May
Since the most recent update, some players have, on more than one occasion, have found themselves loading into a glitched version of the Tower.
The glitch shows the Tower with rubble all around, bricks missing, and plenty of scorch marks, possibly revealing a big tower-destroying plot line for season 11.
You can check out more of it here.
When Does Season of Arrivals Start?
Season of Arrivals kicks off today, June 9.
Season of Arrivals Story
Season of Arrivals brings the Darkness closer, just in time for the next big expansion, Beyond Light.
Expect new revelations about the mysterious force, as well as unlikely alliances between characters like The Drifter and Eris Morn.
Price
The price is a tricky one - Bungie's new model of content is a little tricky to follow.
If you think of each season as its own Battle Pass, those that bought the Digital Deluxe version of Shadowkeep will already have the pass for the next two seasons included.
If you bought the standard edition, or are just jumping into Destiny 2 as a free-to-play Guardian, you'll still be able to join in with the fun but will need to pay 1000 in-game Silver - that's around £10/$10.
Season Pass
As with the Season of the Worthy, there are likely to be both free and premium tracks on the Season Pass which will offer materials, armour, and weapons.
There are almost certainly also exotic engrams, finishers, cosmetics and XP boosts to earn.
Loot Boxes/Bright Engrams Removed
Loot boxes, also known as Bright Engrams, will be removed in Season of the Worthy.
Game Directors Luke Smith said "We want players to know what something costs before they buy it. Bright Engrams don’t live up to that principle so we will no longer be selling them on the Eververse Store.”
Bright Engrams are not entirely going away, however, as they will be limited to the free track of the game’s Season Pass (Battle Pass)

New Features
Season of Arrival adds a whole new Dungeon, known as Prophecy. It's free for all players. We won't spoil anything here, but you can watch the trailer below.
Seasonal Artifact
The Seasonal Artifact is part of the Destiny 2 season experience, with each one offering unique perks and power boosts that expire from season to season.
We don't know what the Artifact will be, but we're excited to find out.
Subclass Changes
Titan, Warlock, and Hunter classes got some changes in Season of the Worthy.
Going forward, we'd expect another round of balancing as Bungie continues to tweak the sandbox, leading into the new Stasis ability being added in Beyond Light.

Sandbox Changes
Destiny's "sandbox" is a general way of describing how the game plays, and it'll likely be getting a hefty update over the course of Season 11.
Season of the Worthy changed how Swords Work, as well as other changes, so expect more to come.
We do already know that the game's perk system is getting a rethink, with reload perks being nerfed and exclusive perks coming to Seasonal Weapons.
Mod Changes
The divisive mod system was reworked in Season of the Worthy, but it still promotes grinding for the ability to use seasonal mods, meaning players are still disappointed. Could this change in Season 11?
New Raid?
Unfortunately, there probably won't be a new raid that's because, for the most part, raids have been tied to full expansions like Shadowkeep's Garden of Salvation Raid, or Forsaken's Last Wish one.
