Destiny 2 will bring back Umbral Engrams in Season 13, as well as new seasonal titles.
In a new This Week at Bungie post, the team confirmed that the engrams will drop less frequently than before, and they'll need a new Prismatic Caster to crack open.

Destiny 2 Is Getting More Umbral Engrams and New Titles In Season 13
Umbral Engrams
The new, reprised Umbral Engrams will drop from the random enemies in the world, as well as from the following activities:
- Patrols
- Strikes
- Crucible
- Gambit
- Nightfall: The Ordeal
- Public Events
- Blind Well
- Nightmare Hunts
- Exo Challenges
- Empire Hunts
- Season 13's Seasonal Activity
That's a lot of ways to earn them, but players will need to complete a new quest to unlock the Prismatic Caster all over again.
The engrams will drop weapons from the current season (Season 13), so at least they'll be viable in the wake of Destiny 2's continued gear sunsetting.
Also, just in case you wondered if Destiny needed more currencies, Bungie thinks so - Prismatic Lenses will be available to focus Umbral Engrams into more specific loot.
Gilded Titles
Season 13 will introduce new Gilded Titles, following on from their introduction all the way back in Forsaken.
Essentially acting as an added incentive, Unbroken, Dredgen, Conqueror and Flawless seals will gain new Triumphs that will ensure everyone knows just how great you are.
Bungie used Flawless, the Trials of Osiris Title as their example. Once you've got the Title, you can repeat Triumphs or complete brand new ones to change the colour of your Seal and Title.
