Destiny 2 Season of the Chosen: How To Earn Cabal Gold

Season of the Chosen introduces a new currency to Destiny 2 – Cabal Gold.

This is what players use to forge medallions to take into the Battlegrounds activity and unlock rewards at the end using the Hammer of Proving.

Destiny 2 Season of the Chosen: How To Earn Cabal Gold

Cabal Gold is dropped from a variety of activities, but it's not guaranteed.

That means there will be times where you aren't able to earn any, so you'll need to simply try again.

You can earn it from the following:

• Playlist Strikes
• Nightfall Strikes
• Gambit Matches
• Crucible Matches
• Public events
• Dungeons
• Nightmare Hunts
• The Blind Well

While at the start of the season you'll be restricted to a maximum of 42 Cabal Gold, you can increase this at the War Table in the H.E.L.M.

With the Battlegrounds being this season's main new activity, expect plenty of opportunities to earn Cabal Gold.
