After reigning as the Club Champion in the recent 2024 Esports World Cup, Team Falcons is back at it again, becoming DreamLeague S24's grand champion days after Dota 2's new hero Kez was released.
In a 3-1 sweep against BetBoom Team, Team Falcon won $300,000 and 3,300 ESL Pro Tour Points or EPT Points which sent them straight into the qualified teams for the upcoming ESL One Bangkok this December.
Team Falcons were on top of their group seed during the initial Group Stage and survived elimination to proceed to the next phase of the group stages. Group Stage 2 wasn't as easy as Group Stage 1 however, with the team dropping in the last qualifying slot for the lower bracket semi-finals in DreamLeague S24's playoffs.

Meanwhile, Betboom Team stayed strong in the upper bracket and landed a Grand Finals slot. Their dreams of winning the grand prize were only crushed by how Team Falcons managed to avoid elimination throughout the lower bracket.
Malr1ne, Team Falcon's mid player, dominated Games 4 and 5 and provided space for their offlaner Ammar to shine and secure their victory. Ammar's signature heroes Doom and Bristleback proved to be a surefire way to win games, with an impressive 7-1-17 KDA on Doom and 11-2-18 KDA on Bristleback.
The team has now won three consecutive DreamLeague events, starting with DreamLeague S22. Now that the Esports World Cup Club Championship and DreamLeague S24's championships to their name, Team Falcons will be eyeing the upcoming ESL One Bangkok next.
Whether 2024 will remain a fruitful year for the team will depend on their consistency, considering upcoming patches are set to be released now that Kez is playable in almost every Dota 2 game mode.
ESL One Bangkok's qualifiers will start on November 15 and team preparations are underway. With Crownfall Act IV already live, you can now start earning those precious Crownfall Tokens and unlock more cosmetics while you wait for the upcoming tournament qualifiers.
