After an intense weekend, packed with the region’s most talented Spartans, Epsilon eSports have emerged as your Halo World Championship Tour: London Champions!
Sixteen teams qualified for the Halo World Championship Tour: London, however, it was the fan favourites, Epsilon eSports, who were able to assert their dominance and regain their crown as the best Halo 5 team within the United Kingdom.
Following a dramatic semi-final series against fierce rivals Team Infused, Epsilon overcame Team Dignitas in a monumental 3-1 showdown in the Halo World Championship Tour: London Grand Finals.
Epsilon eSports have now cemented their legacy within the Halo World Championship as the best team within the UK and ROI and leave the Gfinity Arena with $7,500 and a ticket to the EMEA regional finals.
Although Team Dignitas were unable to secure the title for themselves, they, along with Team Infused, who defeated exceL eSports in the third place playoff, will join Epsilon in the Halo World Championship EMEA Regional Finals.
From the entire Gfinity family, we would like to thank all the teams, players, management and staff for their continued support of the UK eSports scene!
Good luck to Epsilon, Dignitas and Infused!
Teams now have the chance to compete in the UK&ROI Halo World Championship Last Chance Qualifier, taking place Sunday 24th January.
