Overheating is something you want to avoid with all games, it’s annoying and can mess up your hardware if you aren’t careful.
Though this new form from Cyberpunk 2077 now takes the problem into the virtual world!
The overheat hack can be devastating for players in combat, who can get caught out and easily finished off if they aren’t careful.
Here’s how to prevent overheating in Cyberpunk 2077 combat.
How to not overheat
Here are our quick combat guides on how to prevent overheating in Cyberpunk 2077.
Stay Stealthy
If you are never detected, you’ll never get hacked.
Sure, this isn’t the most full solution to the problem but it will certainly help you out!
Investing some perk points in stealth will go a long way to keeping you out of trouble in Cyberpunk 2077, so think about it!

Get Away
It is possible to outrun the hacker. That is if your game isn’t bugged, and with how Cyberpunk’s 2077 launch is going that may well be the cas for you!
Getting out of eyesight and putting a wall or two in between you and the hacker will help immensely.
To aid in this, you can use the I Spy perk to be able to track which enemy is hacking you.
Though you’ll have to do it while you are being breached and not after, as once the overheating starts you’ll just have to wait it out!

Take ‘Em Out
Your last option is to kill your hacker, or shoot at them a bit, to make the hack end early.
Again you’ll have to do this before the overheating starts but with the I Spy perk in hand you should be able to avoid overheating in Cyberpunk 2077 with ease.
