Free Kick Tips And Tricks
Power And Accuracy
One of the first tips that Ovvy recommends is that you need to find the right balance between power and accuracy. He recommends between 1.5-2.5, depending on the distance. The longer you hold the shoot button, the less precise your shot will be.

When it comes to top spin, you'll need to aim above your intended target for the desired effect to have an impact.

When it comes to putting spin and curve on the ball, you need to compensate for that effect by adjusting where you aim. If you aim directly at the goal and put a variation of activity on the ball, it will likely not go to plan. There are a variety of things you can do with a free kick:

- Knuckleball - Flick the analogue stick from UP to DOWN to achieve a knuckleball free kick.
- Low Driven free kick - Flick the analogue stick from DOWN to UP to achieve a low driven free kick.
- Topspin - Flick the analogue stick from DOWN to UP to get some topspin on your shot. Be sure to flick in a STRAIGHT LINE to avoid adding curve to the shot.
- Curved Free Kick - Flick the analogue to the left or right side in a sweeping motion, depending on the curve that you want to apply.
