All Confirmed Players & Weak Foot/Skill Move Upgrades
Here are all of the confirmed players for the FIFA 20 FUT Birthday promotion, as well as all the upgrades to their skill moves, and/or weak foot.
Kylian Mbappé - 94 ST
Upgrade: 4* Weak Foot > 5* Weak Foot
One of the most popular attackers in FUT gets an exciting boost to his weak foot, making him one of the prestigious 5*/5* club. Coupled with his pace, dribbling, strength and prolific goalscoring ability, this Mbappe will be one of the most desired STs in FUT 20.
Eden Hazard - 94 ST
Upgrade: 4* Skill Moves > 5* Skill Moves
Possibly someone that just missed out on 5* skill moves on his base card to start the year was Eden Hazard. Now set as a ST, with 5* skills, this card will be up there as one of the top La Liga attackers.
Antoine Griezmann - 92 CAM
Upgrade: 3* Weak Foot > 5* Weak Foot
Griezmann is a top tier player in FUT, thanks to his agility and wand of a left foot in front of goal. However, his 3* weak foot has been an issue that has resulted in players looking elsewhere for attacking players. Now, with 5* weak foot, expect this Griezmann to tear things up in front of goal.
Marcus Rashford - 90 ST
Upgrade: 3* Weak Foot > 5* Weak Foot
Being a 5* skiller already, Rashford is a very popular player. However, his 3* weak foot, like Griezmann, had always kept him away from end game teams. Now with 5* weak foot, coupled with his 5* skills, Rashford can go either way, making him a completely different player going forward.
Kai Havertz - 90 CAM
Upgrade: 4* Weak Foot > 5* Weak Foot
After being downgraded from 5* weak foot this year, many players were calling for Havertz to be boosted back to his previous FUT 19 glory. Now, with his 5* weak foot restored, as well as 90 pace, 92 dribbling and 90 passing, expect Havertz to be the KDB of the Bundesliga in the midfield.
Muniain - 89 CAM
Upgrade: 3* Weak Foot > 5* Weak Foot
A slightly overlooked player this year, Munian now becomes a very usable option in La Liga, with a big boost to his weaker left foot. Now being a 4* skill, 5* weak foot attacking midfielder, with incredible agility, Muniain may become a more popular choice for Spanish teams.
Moussa Sissoko - 88 CM
Upgrade: 3* Weak Foot > 5* Weak Foot
Oh my. Moussa Sissoko’s FUTMAS item was one of the most completed SBCs this year, and now he not only has an even better 88 rated card with massive boosts, but he now has 5* weak foot. Expect this card to be ridiculously expensive, now being a part of the famous 80+ Gullit Gang.
Allan Saint-Maximin - 88 RW
Upgrade: 4* Weak Foot > 5* Weak Foot
Saint-Maximin was already a mightily popular option in Premier League teams, thanks to his pace, dribbling and 5* skill moves. Now with 5* weak foot, and a big boost to his technical stats in shooting and passing, watch out if you come up against this man on the right hand side.
Lucas Hernandez - 88 CB
Upgrade: 2* Skill Moves > 5* Skill Moves
A rather interesting decision this one from EA, in giving a CB a 5* skill move boost. I’m not sure how many people will be skilling with their CBs, but either way, this is a big boost to Hernandez’s card, with +4 pace, +5 defending and +4 physical. If you’re looking for a CB to rainbow flick with, he’s your man!
Joao Cancelo - 87 RB
Upgrade: 4* Skill Moves > 5* Skill Moves & 3* Weak Foot > 4* Weak Foot
One of only 2 players to see boosts to both skill moves and weak foot in this FUT Birthday team, Joao Cancelo gets his first upgrade of the year, with +5 defending, +3 pace and a whopping +9 physical. If you’re looking for a tricky defender for your skills team, Cancelo is your man.
Guerreiro - 87 LM
Upgrade: 2* Weak Foot > 5* Weak Foot
A brilliant upgrade this one, turning what would usually be quite an unusable card into a usable one. Now with the ability to cut inside onto his right foot from the left, Guerreiro becomes a very usable Bundesliga LM.
Hirving Lozano - 87 RW
Upgrade: 4* Skill Moves > 5* Skill Moves & 3* Weak Foot > 4* Weak Foot
The 2nd double upgrade in the team, a fan favourite, to say the least, Hirving Lozano. The Napoli winger gets a tasty upgrade to 5* skill moves, as well as a 4* weak foot boost, allowing him to cut inside a little more onto his left foot for attacks. A very exciting card this one, and being a fan favourite, maybe popular for Weekend League teams.
Dakonam Djene - 87 CB
Upgrade: 2* Skill Moves > 5* Skill Moves
Another big skill move upgrade for a CB, with the Getafe CB receiving a 5* skill move boost. With only 70 dribbling, I’m not sure how well he’ll perform skills in-game, so it may be best to steer clear, but with boosts of +6 pace, +4 defending and +5 physical, if you’re looking for a solid La Liga CB, Djene is a top option.
Joaquin Correa - 86 CF
Upgrade: 4* Weak Foot > 5* Weak Foot
A great potential budget option here for Serie A teams, with Correa getting a vital boost to his 4* weak foot, as well as a +6 overall boost. With +6 pace, +9 dribbling, +10 shooting and passing, and +9 physical, Correa quickly becomes a very usable option for Serie A teams.
Nicolas Gaitan - 85 CAM
Upgrade: 2* Weak Foot > 5* Weak Foot
The final player in the first FUT Birthday team is Nicolas Gaitan, who receives a big boost making him a 4* skill, 5* weak foot attacking midfielder in Ligue 1. He may be lower rated, but if you’re looking for an attacking midfielder in the French ligue to link with the 88 Future Stars Osimhen, Gaitan could very well be a great look!
