The tables have turned.
The Virgin Media Gaming Hexathlon is in full swing. 219 members have signed up for the tournament thus far and over 350 games have been played across FIFA 15, Hearthstone and Super Smash Bros.
With the registration process set to close on Friday 18th September, there is still time for you to join the £5,000 competition and earn your place at the Grand Finals, held at EGX. To enter, simply go to Gfinity.net/VirginMedia and create a team.
Since our last update, two new faces have entered the top half of the table, as familiar FIFA stars ZacMoore11 and xPoacher propel themselves into the 7 EGX qualifier spots at the expense of NiGhTOfficial and STYLO, who maintain a respective 9th and 10th placing.
The remaining 5 spots at the head of the Hexathlon table have stayed in the hands of their previous occupants. However, apart from Nova Stapez, who maintains his role at the top of the podium, the ladder has witnessed a number of position changes.
Sitting in pole position with 1,291 points, Nova Stapez reigns top of the ladder, with an outstanding 21 wins and 1 loss.
While Nove Stapez holds a comfortable 90 point lead, new boy ZacMoore11 has climbed his way into second place, with an impressive 1,204 points. Narrowly behind Zac, we have Shadalz, who trails the FIFA player by a single point and xPoacher who trails by 9.
Below the top four, we have KeepingCrane436, RavenHS and RarestSolnum#2561 who are separated by a mere 8 points. It’s all to play for!
