FIFA 21 Career Mode: Highest Potential Players, Wonderkids And How To Tell A Player's Potential

FIFA 21 is dropping this October and many will be glad to hear with an overhauled Career Mode!

Everyone has their own way of playing this exciting mode, but everyone needs to know what potential your players have.

Obviously, some players have a much higher potential than others - but who has the highest?

What Is Potential?

Potential is how much a player can grow during your career mode save.

Every player starts with a rating and as time goes on, players will develop their ability and skill, which increases their ratings and stats.

How To Tell Potential In FIFA 21

You can only see a players' "general" potential up through the age of 21. Unless you have access to the database, you won't be able to tell the full potential in-game.

But there are some written queues that can give you a nice idea of how much potential a player has.

They'll be classified within the below:

  • Joined club in 20xx: this means the player's potential is under 80
  • "Showing great potential": the player's potential is 80-84
  • "An exciting prospect": the player's potential is 85-89
  • "Potential to be special": the player's potential is 90-94
